2. Researching Your Topic

The next step is to conduct some research on your topic.  You'll need to research:

  • What happened?  This should include who was involved, when it happened, what events took place, and anything else your audience will need to know in order to understand the topic.
  • Why was this topic important?
  • How did this topic affect people?
  • What was the cause?
  • How is our world different today because of this?

As you research, you'll need to be taking notes so that you remember information.  To do this, print out some Research Notes forms.
